Team Leader (Fabrication) - 1st Shift

Location: Brillion, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, Monday–Thursday, 4:30 AM–2:30 PM

Pay: $26.00 per hour starting rate plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus

What you will do

• Lead team members in brake press and forming fabrication operations.
• Maintain, audit, and improve standard work while ensuring adherence to production procedures.
• Monitor cycle time against takt time and support production line operations when needed.
• Train new employees, transfers, and cross-trained team members; provide coverage for absences.
• Identify and eliminate waste, resolve root-cause issues, and support daily safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
• Complete production control charts and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Understanding of standard work, time observations, takt time, takt-versus-actual performance, bar charts, standard work combination sheets, and spaghetti diagrams.
• Knowledge of the five key policy-deployment measures, Lean, 6S, TWI, and standardized problem solving.
• Training and communication skills, basic computer skills, and the ability to become torque certified; training is provided.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Previous leadership experience.
• Additional education in lean, leadership, or manufacturing.
