hirify.global is hiring for a fabrication position supporting the assembly and production of metal structures and equipment.

What you will do

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to determine specifications and calculate component dimensions.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic MIG, TIG, and arc welding equipment.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures for defects and compliance with specifications.
• Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols to protect workplace safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S improvement activities.

Requirements

• Experience in fabrication and welding; level is determined by experience and weld-test results.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings.
• Understanding of MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work in the Hudson, Wisconsin area as a Local Union 14 employee.
