Fab Manufacturing Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, USA — 4380 Ziegler Road

Annual base salary: $129,400–$207,000, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity opportunities.

What you will do

• Sustain and implement quality management processes, policies, standards, systems, and tools across the fab.
• Drive improvements and simplification in quality systems while protecting safety and quality outcomes.
• Develop statistical process control standardization methods and data mining tools for evaluating manufacturing changes.
• Review risk mitigation plans for fab changes and non-conformances using FMEA and related methods.
• Lead weekly quality meetings and support engineering teams with process changes and non-conforming deviation events.
• Identify training needs and help develop training on quality concepts and tools.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering with 12+ years of related quality or manufacturing engineering experience; a master's or PhD with 6+ years of experience is preferred.
• Experience with statistical control systems, problem-solving techniques, FMEA, and data mining tool development.
• Understanding of semiconductor fab processes, regulatory requirements, standards, audits, and knowledge-control systems.
• Experience with JMP, Klarity, FDC, Confluence, Spotfire, and SPC.
• Ability to build data analysis and mining scripts; experience with JMP/SAS, Python, VBS, or other programming languages is preferred.
• Strong collaboration, leadership, communication, prioritization, and meeting facilitation skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma, CQE, or CMQ/OE certification.
• Master's or PhD degree in Engineering.
