Sr. Software Engineer (Hardware)

Location: Hybrid, with the opportunity to be based in the Vancouver office, British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $175,500–$218,250 CAD base salary

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software solutions and integrations for VoIP devices, including IP phones, SIP adapters, ATA adapters, and DECT base stations.
• Design features for device management, provisioning, activation, and device control in the user interface.
• Troubleshoot production and customer issues involving connected devices.
• Write and maintain unit tests for device integration management software.
• Review peer code and maintain software quality.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Python or another structured programming language.
• Experience with both frontend and backend technologies and with databases.
• Expertise in unit testing and familiarity with Git.
• Familiarity with TCP and UDP networking protocols and RESTful APIs.
