Manager, Accounts Payable and Expenses (AI)

Location: Opportunity to be based in a company hub, including San Ramon, California, United States.

Salary: $142,500–$180,000 USD base salary annually for exceptional talent based in California; bonus, equity, and benefits are not included.

What you will do

• Manage full-cycle global accounts payable and travel-and-expense operations across U.S. and international entities.
• Oversee vendor management, invoice processing, payment execution, employee reimbursements, and corporate credit card programs.
• Lead month-end AP close, reconciliations, vendor accruals, flux analysis, and payment forecasting.
• Supervise and mentor the AP team while serving as a hands-on backup and escalation point.
• Implement new systems and processes, strengthen internal controls, and support AI transformation initiatives.
• Partner with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, auditors, and external accounting providers on compliance and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including 2 or more years managing people.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency AP operations.
• NetSuite or another ERP experience is required.
• Experience with AI and AP automation tools, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, attention to detail, and strategic thinking.

• Experience with ZIP, Bill.com, Brex, or similar software.
