Accounts Payable Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Fully onsite in Jacksonville, Florida; candidates must already live in the area. The role may require up to 10% travel to IEM facilities, supplier sites, audits, or conferences. Not available to California residents.

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee the complete procure-to-pay process from invoice receipt through payment execution.
• Manage and mentor Accounts Payable Specialists, set objectives, evaluate performance, and support professional development.
• Manage vendor onboarding, relationships, invoice discrepancies, payment disputes, W-9 documentation, and standard terms.
• Prepare aging reports, cash-flow forecasts, 1099s, AP accruals, and month-end reporting; reconcile AP aging to the general ledger.
• Maintain internal controls, audit documentation, tax accuracy, petty cash, and compliance with accounting policies and regulations.
• Improve AP procedures and manage disbursement schedules to support operational efficiency and cash flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, AP processes, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, plus strong analytical, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infor Syteline or a similar ERP.
• Experience with Medius.
