Startup Founder (3D Printing)

Location: Somerville, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $120,000–$250,000 base pay per year

hirify.global develops 3D printing technology and tools for designing, prototyping, and manufacturing physical products, including medical devices.

What you will do

• Define product strategy and vision by identifying unmet user needs and high-potential market opportunities.
• Develop and scale new product lines, ventures, and business units from research and development through global-scale shipping.
• Own business outcomes, including market expansion and P&L performance.
• Build, hire, and mentor multidisciplinary teams of engineers, operators, and designers.
• Make high-stakes decisions across engineering, sales, manufacturing, and marketing.

Requirements

• Proven experience building a business or significant technology venture, ideally as an entrepreneur or co-founder.
• Experience creating multidisciplinary technology products across the full lifecycle from ideation to scale.
• Strong ownership, bias for action, and comfort working in ambiguous, complex environments.
• Experience hiring and leading teams in a high-standard, constantly changing environment.
• Ability to work across product, engineering, sales, manufacturing, and marketing functions.

Nice to have

• Background in robotics, mechanical engineering, or computer science.
• Experience with manufacturing, regulatory requirements, or product standards in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences.
• Experience with 3D printing technologies and materials.
• MBA, consulting experience, or entrepreneurial experience such as founding a business.
• Familiarity with Tableau or SQL.
