Applied AI Architect, Partnerships

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid policy requires staff to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time

What you will do

• Act as a technical partner to global and regional system integrators and cloud partners, enabling their AI practices and supporting complex technical escalations.
• Identify high-value industry-specific generative AI applications and develop joint solutions, reference architectures, and implementation best practices.
• Support strategic customer deals by providing solution architecture guidance and resolving technical blockers.
• Represent Anthropic at partner workshops, summits, conferences, hackathons, developer events, and technical enablement sessions.
• Collect partner feedback on products, use cases, and deployment patterns to inform product roadmaps and partner strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in technical customer-facing or partner-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Partner Sales Engineer.
• Experience partnering with global system integrators or cloud providers from solution design through customer delivery.
• Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and technical translation skills across executive, engineering, and IT stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience in a relevant field.
