Senior AI Architect (AI)

Salary: $134,900–$237,300 base compensation annually; commission or performance-based bonus opportunities may also be available.

What you will do

• Architect production-ready AI systems for self-service, agent assistance, journey management, and back-office automation.
• Design scalable retrieval-augmented generation and enterprise knowledge architectures, balancing accuracy, freshness, latency, security, governance, and performance.
• Build AI evaluation and observability frameworks covering retrieval quality, tool-call performance, safety, drift, cost, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
• Develop contextual AI experiences using real-time customer data, interaction history, conversation state, and external signals.
• Lead technical discovery, demonstrations, prototypes, sandbox engagements, integrations, value assessments, and production pilot readiness for strategic enterprise opportunities.
• Create reusable technical assets and enablement while translating customer and field feedback into product and go-to-market guidance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing and architecting enterprise AI solutions using machine learning, NLU/NLP, retrieval systems, LLMs, orchestration, tool use, and agentic AI.
• Strong architectural judgment across model selection, latency, cost, explainability, governance, multilingual requirements, security, scalability, and business risk.
• Deep experience integrating AI with enterprise platforms, knowledge sources, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, identity systems, and cloud ecosystems.
• Experience designing real-time enterprise systems with voice and digital latency, throughput, secure data access, reliability, fallback paths, and failure handling.
• Expertise in AI evaluation, governance, observability, prompt design, context management, RAG, and workflow optimization.
• Strong presales communication skills, including technical demonstrations, prototypes, executive storytelling, and influencing CIO, CTO, and senior technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of the platform's cloud and AI capabilities.
• Experience with customer experience orchestration, contact centers, self-service, agent assistance, journey management, or back-office automation.
• Experience creating reusable enablement for solution consulting, partner, sales engineering, or field organizations.
• Experience partnering with Product Management and Engineering on platform improvements.
