GSF Accounting, Accountant 1 (PG23) (MedTech)

Location: Taguig, National Capital Region (Manila), Philippines; up to 10–20% international travel and flexible shifts supporting Americas, EMEA, and Asia responsibilities.

What you will do

• Execute accounting and daily operations for simple and medium-complexity entities within the Global Services Finance accounting process.
• Complete financial period close activities according to the closing calendar, service-level commitments, compliance requirements, internal audit standards, and SOX controls.
• Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and validity of reported actuals, including regular balance sheet reconciliations and reduction of open items.
• Support auditors and legal authorities, identify compliance risks, and help maintain effective internal controls.
• Train new team members and business process outsourcing partners while supporting process subject matter experts and operational contacts.
• Identify and implement process improvements aligned with global standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• Basic proficiency with standard Microsoft tools, including Microsoft Teams.
• Effective communication skills and a strong academic record, including placement in the top 10% of the graduating class.
• Openness to new ideas, ability to develop effective ways of working, and active extracurricular participation with leadership experience in organizations or clubs.
• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and travel internationally up to 10–20%.
