Senior LNG & Natural Gas Analyst

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and improve quantitative supply and demand forecasting models for European natural gas and LNG markets.
• Monitor European energy-flow datasets to identify trade trends, structural shifts, and fundamental market drivers.
• Produce research articles, reports, and expert commentary connecting European natural gas developments with global LNG implications.
• Present market views to clients, prospective customers, media, and industry audiences at events and conferences.
• Automate data collection, model inputs, and analytical workflows using programming tools.
• Collaborate with Power, Refineries, LPG, and market data teams to expand gas-market coverage.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in natural gas or LNG market analysis, including at least 3 years covering European gas markets.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, or VBA for model development and automation.
• Experience building, maintaining, and justifying quantitative market models and fundamental forecasts.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data-backed views to internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics, Data Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for interactive market dashboards.
• Interest or experience applying AI tools to automate data collection, visualization, and analytical work.
