Project Manager - Group (Insurance)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working with 2 days in the office per week

What you will do

• Lead medium to large projects and workstreams within transformation programmes and portfolios.
• Plan and manage projects end to end, from vision through outcome realisation and completion.
• Define scope, deliverables, success criteria, business cases, benefits, budgets, and delivery plans with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Manage project governance, risks, issues, actions, decisions, dependencies, resources, vendors, and critical paths.
• Lead stakeholder communication, business readiness, adoption, training, and change management activities.
• Close projects, capture lessons learned, improve transformation practices, and coach less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Experience delivering complex change while managing competing priorities and multiple concurrent projects.
• Practical experience with project planning, resource scheduling, governance, controls, and end-to-end SDLC delivery.
• Extensive experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong communication, relationship management, influencing, commercial awareness, and continuous improvement skills.
• Experience delivering change in an insurance or financial services company.
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and similar tools.

Nice to have

• Formal project management qualification or professional membership, such as PRINCE2, PMP, APM, or PMI.
• Change management qualification, such as APMG.
• Degree-level education or equivalent.
