Senior Release Manager – Software Deployment & Release Coordination (Git/Agile): Leading end-to-end software release processes and coordinating complex deployments in a hybrid Lisbon-based role with an accent on Git architecture, branching strategies, repository management, and workflow control. Focus on resolving complex merge conflicts, improving CI/CD and deployment procedures, and mitigating operational risks across concurrent release workflows.
Location: Lisbon, hybrid. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end software release processes and high-quality deployments.
- Manage multiple concurrent workflows while maintaining visibility and control across the release landscape.
- Diagnose and resolve complex Git merge conflicts under tight deadlines.
- Implement release-management best practices, including branching strategies and repository management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment procedures and operational workflows.
- Identify operational bottlenecks, mitigate risks, and communicate technical details to stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in release management, software deployment, or a related field.
- Expert knowledge of Git architecture, branching strategies, and repository management.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving complex merge conflicts and managing multiple complex workflows.
- Experience in an agile environment with a proactive, data-driven problem-solving approach.
- Fluent English and Portuguese are required.
- Existing legal authorization to work in the European Union is required.
Nice to have
- Certifications in release management, DevOps, or related disciplines.
- Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
