Senior Software Engineer (C++/Rust)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid working model

Salary: From 21,000 PLN gross per month, plus eligibility for a bonus.

What you will do

• Learn, contribute to, and gradually take ownership of Rust-based services.
• Modernize existing platform capabilities and architecture.
• Design and implement scalable APIs and distributed system components.
• Write well-tested code with automated unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshoot production and performance issues while improving reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate across engineering teams and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing software in C++.
• Interest and willingness to learn and work extensively with Rust.
• Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
• Knowledge of software design principles, SOLID, and test-driven development.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native applications, automated testing, networking, databases, and REST APIs.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
