Senior Backend Engineer - Agentic Pentest

Location: Poland; 100% remote

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and engineering teams on architecture and requirements.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues and minimize downtime.
• Lead code reviews, improve engineering practices, and mentor junior engineers.
• Continuously improve system design, reliability, and development processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Active and proficient use of AI tools such as Copilot and LLMs.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade systems.
• Proficiency in Node.js, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and microservices architecture, plus strong problem-solving and code quality skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or cloud security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
