Product Manager - Data Center System and Manageability Software

Location: US, California, Santa Clara, with additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona; Folsom, California; Hillsboro, Oregon; and Austin, Texas. The role follows a hybrid work model, splitting time between an assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Annual salary: $160,980–$265,870 USD for roles performed in the US.

What you will do

• Define multi-generational product strategies and roadmaps for system software, firmware, telemetry, and orchestration interfaces across data center GPU products.
• Align silicon, platform hardware, firmware, operating system, and cloud software engineering teams around architecture and release schedules.
• Conduct technical discovery with cloud service providers, enterprise customers, OEMs, and ODMs and translate infrastructure challenges into product requirements.
• Lead standard-based fleet manageability and observability using Redfish, OpenBMC, PLDM, and telemetry pipelines.
• Own the lifecycle from PRD creation and engineering prioritization through platform bring-up, validation, security patching, production deployment, and end-of-life planning.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total experience, including 4+ years in technical product management for data center infrastructure, server platforms, or systems software.
• Expertise in server architecture, BMC firmware, OpenBMC, UEFI/BIOS, RAS, out-of-band management, and platform security including Root of Trust and SPDM.
• Familiarity with DMTF Redfish, IPMI, MCTP, PLDM, and PCIe/CXL manageability standards.
• Experience taking complex system software or platform firmware from concept to high-volume production deployment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work within the US hybrid model and at an assigned hirify.global site.

Nice to have

• Experience designing manageability tools for hyperscale data centers or hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Engagement with open-source firmware and hardware initiatives such as the Open Compute Project or Linux Foundation.
• Experience with edge-to-cloud telemetry streaming, platform health modeling, or predictive failure analysis using machine learning.
• MS or MBA degree.
