Section Leader, Nights

Location: Warrington, UK. On-site night shift, 6pm–6am, working four days on and four days off; availability across all days of the week is required according to the rotation.

Salary: £16.78 per hour

What you will do

• Provide first-line support to operatives across production areas, resolving issues with PPE, station ownership cards, box blockages, and tote-out conveyors.
• Work with other section leaders to maintain line flow and saturation.
• Complete daily good-to-go checks within the required timeframe.
• Drive GMP standards and support operational KPI delivery.
• Provide feedback to team members and agencies, and escalate issues to team leaders and supervisors.
• Report near misses and hazards while promoting safety awareness on site.

Requirements

• Previous experience influencing or leading a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse fulfilment and operational targets.
• Strong organisational, communication, attention-to-detail, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using computers, particularly Google Sheets.
• Ability to lead team briefings and work effectively with others.
• Food Safety Level 2 qualification.
