Manager Logistics CoE (MedTech)

Location: Leiden and Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands; regular presence at both sites is expected.

Salary: €68,600–€119,600 gross annual base pay.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Logistics Center of Expertise team covering process engineering, material management, quality, equipment, and EHS.
• Own the logistics strategy, process standards, governance, KPIs, and performance management across warehousing, distribution, inventory, and material flow.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, waste elimination, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure GMP, GDP, EHS, regulatory, audit, inspection, deviation, CAPA, and change-control readiness.
• Lead logistics transformation, automation, digitalization, analytics, technology transfers, and supply chain optimization projects.
• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Science, Procurement, and global stakeholders while advising senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• APICS certification.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or pharmaceutical environments.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams or complex cross-functional programs.
• Experience in GMP/GDP-regulated environments, operational excellence, continuous improvement, stakeholder management, and organizational change.
• Ability to work regularly across the Leiden and Schiphol-Rijk sites in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare experience.
• Warehouse and distribution transformation experience.
• Experience with SAP, advanced planning systems, analytics platforms, or digital supply chain solutions.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.
