Operations Supervisor – Military Leadership Path (Logistics): Leading and developing a 25–30-person warehouse team while managing safety, quality, productivity, attendance, inventory accuracy, and operational KPIs with an accent on data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Focus on adjusting labor and workflows, identifying root causes, solving cross-functional fulfillment problems, and developing future frontline leaders.

Location: On-site in Pittston, Pennsylvania, United States, supporting hirify.global's Pittston fulfillment operations at PA1, PA2, or PA3.

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop approximately 25–30 warehouse associates.
  • Set expectations and maintain accountability for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, inventory accuracy, equipment, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Lead shift huddles, communicate daily priorities, and make operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitor KPIs, interpret operational data, and adjust labor and workflows as conditions change.
  • Identify root causes, eliminate waste, improve processes, and strengthen execution.
  • Partner with HR, Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to solve problems and develop future frontline leaders.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of military leadership, supervisory, team-lead, or personnel oversight experience, or 2+ years of civilian leadership experience in operations, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, maintain accountability, and execute operational objectives.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and use metrics to improve performance.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, or overtime based on business needs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Experience as an NCO, Senior NCO, Warrant Officer, or Commissioned Officer.
  • Military experience in logistics, transportation, supply, maintenance, aviation support, engineering, or operations.
  • Degree or coursework in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or continuous-improvement experience.
