What you will do
- Own the finance function end-to-end as the initial internal finance hire.
- Build financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, operating models, and scenario analysis covering revenue, ARR, hiring plans, and cash runway.
- Prepare reporting for leadership, the Board, and investors while supporting fundraising, due diligence, and strategic decisions.
- Manage cash flow, treasury, working capital, invoicing, accounts payable, banking, insurance, and core financial operations.
- Build scalable quote-to-cash processes and oversee financial compliance across UK and US entities with external advisers.
- Develop unit economics, customer profitability, pricing analysis, and automated finance systems, then build a lean finance team as the company grows.
Requirements
- Experience leading finance in a high-growth B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, or commercial finance, including robust financial modelling and planning processes.
- Experience producing Board and investor reporting and supporting fundraising or due diligence.
- Ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor while building functions from first principles.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate financial data into actionable business insight.
- Highly proactive, organised, independent, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment.
