RF Test Engineer II

Location: Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, United States; onsite

Salary: $75,000–$100,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build RF test benches and fixtures for manual and automated testing.
• Maintain, train, and improve test configurations for the design and production of power amplifiers.
• Lead and support design verification testing while providing technical feedback to engineering and design review teams.
• Write code, fix bugs, and optimize automated test programs.
• Support operations with RF testing and troubleshooting.
• Create testing processes and documentation for design verification, factory acceptance, qualification, and functional testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in RF test engineering.
• Strong understanding of RF power amplifier testing and RF measurements, including S-parameters, IMD, harmonics, spurious emissions, P1dB/P3dB, gain compression, noise figure, and ACPR.
• Experience with qualification testing, including vibration, EMI/EMC, and lightning testing, and the ability to interpret DO-160.
• Experience with LabVIEW for test automation and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Visio.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and pass a post-offer drug test.
