Senior Software Engineer I, Full Stack (React/TypeScript, Django/Python)

Location: Remote within most U.S. states, with some exclusions. Office hubs are available in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York.

Salary: $135,000–$155,000 annual

What you will do

• Act as a hands-on technical leader across React/TypeScript and Django/Python.
• Design, build, deploy, and support full-stack features using React applications, Django APIs, and PostgreSQL.
• Translate complex business workflows into intuitive, accessible, and responsive user experiences.
• Design secure RESTful APIs and integrate Google and other third-party platforms.
• Own automated testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance, reliability, and observability across the stack.
• Review architecture and code, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and engineering squads.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building production web applications with strong React/TypeScript and Python/Django expertise.
• Experience owning complex full-stack features and systems end to end.
• Strong knowledge of React architecture, accessibility, state management, Django, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and relational data modeling.
• Experience with Vite, NPM, GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD, and automated testing with Vitest or Jest, Pytest, and Playwright.
• Understanding of application and API security, containerized cloud deployments, and production operations; GCP and Kubernetes are a plus.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; immigration sponsorship is not available.
