Location: Milan, Italy; regular travel to Milan may be required.

Salary: €55,000 gross annual salary starting band, based on experience, skills, and seniority.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders and management of the Italian business.
• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements, supplier agreements, and general terms and conditions.
• Support public tenders, procurement procedures, public-authority interactions, claims, and litigation with external lawyers.
• Assess and mitigate legal risks while monitoring new local legislation affecting the business.
• Create and implement legal templates, policies, guidelines, best practices, and internal training.
• Support newly acquired subsidiaries with contractual, policy, and process integration and contribute to the continuous improvement of the legal department.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Italian law.
• At least 5 years of in-house legal counsel experience focused on commercial law, contract law, and/or IT law.
• Effective written and spoken Italian and English are required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, contract drafting, and legal risk assessment skills.
• Business mindset with the ability to explain legal complexity through pragmatic advice.
• Proactive, professional, autonomous, collaborative, and committed to high-quality work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Albanian law.
• Admission to the Bar.
• Experience with M&A and post-acquisition integration.
