Retro Adjuster, Property & Casualty (Reinsurance)

Location: Kansas City, Missouri, US; hybrid work with an expectation of three office days per week

Salary: $84,000–$140,000 base annually

What you will do

• Identify, calculate, account for, bill, and drive collections for significant retrocession payables and receivables.
• Act as the primary contact for external retro clients and collaborate with clients and claims teams to substantiate balances and resolve queries.
• Prepare financial, regulatory, and management reports.
• Review, identify, and allocate cash on a daily basis.
• Administer external run-off transactions and participate in process development and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization, prioritization, attention to detail, research, and deadline-management abilities.
• College degree strongly preferred.
• Reinsurance or insurance accounting experience preferred.
• This role is not eligible for relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
