Demand Planner (Pharmaceutical)

What you will do

• Gather demand factors from Business Units and model their impact in Kinaxis planning tools.
• Combine statistical forecasts with local market knowledge and maintain accurate demand plans.
• Analyze forecast deviations, market trends, supply risks, out-of-stocks, and products at risk due to short shelf life.
• Support scenario planning, Sales & Operations Execution, root cause analysis, and action planning.
• Coordinate with Product Planners, Demand Managers, Manufacturing and Supply, Commercial, Regulatory, Finance, Logistics, and Customer Fulfillment teams.
• Prepare and present demand plans in Integrated Business Planning meetings while driving continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in demand planning.
• Fluent English communication and writing skills.
• Experience with scenario planning, risk and benefit analysis, contingency planning, and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, integrity, professionalism, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and supply chain management; pharmaceutical manufacturing knowledge is preferred.

Nice to have

• Fluent Japanese communication skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements.
• Experience with SAP and Kinaxis.
• Understanding of financial functions and strong communication skills.
