Senior Category Manager (MRO) (Strategic Sourcing/Semiconductor Manufacturing): Managing end-to-end MRO categories, supplier relationships, contracts, and sourcing strategies for semiconductor manufacturing operations with an accent on cost optimization, supply continuity, and equipment uptime. Focus on leading supplier escalations, developing business continuity plans, and coordinating cross-functional procurement initiatives.

What you will do
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for MRO categories, including equipment spare parts, maintenance services, industrial supplies, consumables, and fabrication items.
- Lead RFQ/RFP activities, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and commercial agreement management.
- Manage supplier performance, spend benchmarking, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supply continuity.
- Lead escalations involving shortages, service issues, delivery delays, warranty claims, and manufacturing disruptions.
- Develop recovery and business continuity plans to protect equipment uptime and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Planning, Finance, Quality, and Legal teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in commodity management and procurement.
- BS degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Expertise with sourcing and contracting tools such as SAP or Oracle Cloud.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables, as well as Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, supplier management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing indirect materials and suppliers serving semiconductor or electronics companies is preferred.
