Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Remote in Taiwan

What you will do

• Ensure OSATs maintain effective quality management systems and comply with hirify.global requirements and industry standards.
• Conduct QMS, manufacturing process, preventive, SCAR, and product audits; close identified gaps and non-compliances.
• Lead supplier continuous-improvement initiatives focused on preventing customer complaints, reducing defects and variation, and eliminating waste.
• Resolve supplier quality incidents and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Review non-conforming material, process changes, supplier quality data, and customer information.
• Partner with design and manufacturing engineering teams on process capability, supplier qualification, and new product launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of quality-control experience in semiconductor manufacturing, assembly, and final-test operations.
• Proficiency with 8D, PPAP, PFMEA, problem solving, and supplier quality analysis.
• Experience developing part-certification processes and vendor quality measures.
• Knowledge of quality management systems including IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 9000.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, accuracy, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• More than 5 years of semiconductor quality-control experience.
• Process engineering experience.
• Experience with MEMS products.
