ETCH Installation Customer Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Pyeongtaek, South Korea; on-site role with 75% travel

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and upgrade customer semiconductor equipment with Senior Field Service Engineers.
• Use digital analytics and basic diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems.
• Coordinate directly with customers to support smooth equipment operation.
• Work in clean-room environments and comply with safety, environmental, and on-site requirements.

Requirements

• Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification.
• 1–2 years of customer or field service experience, or experience in a related technical field.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics and diagnose basic technical problems.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with hand tools and digital multimeters, plus basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain a passport if travel is required, and ability to meet physical, safety, and clean-room requirements.

Nice to have

• 2–4 years of customer or field service experience or related technical experience.
