FEP Process Support Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Hwaseong, South Korea. Travel required up to 20% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced processes for semiconductor chip manufacturing.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze experimental data statistically, and prepare reports with technical conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex process and product issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve technical goals and build trusted relationships.
• Apply process and customer knowledge to analyze problems and evaluate solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fab or equipment industry.
• Communication proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
