Camps Coordinator

Salary: $7,158.42–$10,292.25 CAD monthly

hirify.global Athletics and Recreation provides sport, recreation, and youth programming for the university and wider community.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, deliver, and evaluate year-round youth camp programs, schedules, facilities, transportation, staffing, and related resources.
• Coordinate registration, waitlists, customer communications, refunds, participant check-in and check-out, purchasing, and program documentation.
• Recruit, hire, schedule, train, supervise, evaluate, and manage camp instructors and program staff.
• Prepare and administer camp budgets, sales and payment controls, ledger reconciliation, payroll, and registration systems.
• Develop evaluations, monitor participation and program trends, and recommend improvements and new programming.
• Support marketing, risk management, safety procedures, crisis management, and community representation.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience working with children in a recreational setting and delivering developmentally appropriate lessons or programs.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, and supervisory skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and exercise initiative, tact, and diplomacy.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and respect for diverse perspectives.
• A valid criminal record check is required.

Nice to have

• Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Education, or Recreation Management with at least two years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, class registration software, or social media.
• Class 4 Driver's License.
