Design Specialist (Interior Design)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona, United States; store-based role with in-home consultations and off-site client meetings as needed

What you will do

• Deliver personalized design consultations and recommend furnishings, layouts, and styling solutions.
• Drive sales and achieve revenue, conversion, and client-retention targets.
• Build relationships with residential clients, trade professionals, and the local design community.
• Manage the client lifecycle through CRM tools and targeted outreach.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and the overall store aesthetic.
• Conduct in-home consultations and attend off-site meetings with trade clients as needed.

Requirements

• Design-oriented sales professional with a passion for modern interiors.
• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success is preferred.
• Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong client needs assessment, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.
• Ability to lift more than 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
