Senior Interior Designer (Multifamily)

What you will do

• Lead interior design vision and concept development for multifamily clubhouses, units, amenities, corridors, and leasing areas.
• Translate concepts into design solutions aligned with project goals, budgets, and brand strategy.
• Select finishes, materials, lighting, and furnishings, and prepare presentations, specifications, and FF&E documentation.
• Coordinate with development, architecture, construction, procurement, consultants, and third-party interior design firms.
• Review submittals and RFIs, manage drawing uploads in SharePoint and Procore, and verify that design intent is delivered.
• Mentor junior designers, support drafting teams, analyze market trends, and use approved AI tools for drafting, research, summaries, and routine work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design; advancement toward professional registration is preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience on multifamily, mixed-use, or hospitality design teams.
• Knowledge of interior design specifications, calculations, ADA guidelines, building codes, and industry standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines under pressure, and complete assignments within established standards.

Nice to have

• NCIDQ or RID certification.
