Sales & Design Specialist (Retail Furniture)

Location: Fairfax, Virginia, United States; in-store position

Salary: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, plus uncapped commission on shipped items and performance-based incentives.

What you will do

• Educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
• Design furniture solutions aligned with client needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
• Build client relationships, follow up on leads, and drive sales.
• Collaborate with the Architecture & Design community to develop brand awareness and partnerships.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and a premium store experience.
• Process transactions and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design or rendering tools.
• Ability to lift or move items over 40 pounds and follow safety protocols.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
