Sales Consultant (Furniture)

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, United States

Compensation: $15 per hour during 2–6 weeks of training; post-training base pay of $11 per hour plus uncapped commissions and bonuses. Average annual earning potential after training: $55,000–$75,000+.

What you will do

• Sell furniture, accessories, and services while contributing to store sales goals.
• Guide customers through the hirify.global selling process, including needs discovery, presentations, objection handling, closing, follow-up, and after-sale service.
• Schedule and conduct professional home consultations with customized room designs, fabric samples, furniture, tables, accessories, and installation recommendations.
• Promote the design program and support the in-store designer in achieving sales goals.
• Maintain customer records, process orders and deposits, schedule deliveries, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve issues.
• Support showroom presentation, product displays, store cleanliness, opening and closing procedures, and peer training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and the ability to close sales are strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and the schedule required by business needs.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, pass a background and drug screening, and meet any applicable driver program requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
