Sales Representative (Interior Textiles)

Location: US - Virginia

Salary: $50,000–$70,000 annually, with potential geographic premium, discretionary incentive, and equity awards.

What you will do

• Sell Edelman, Knoll Textiles, and Maharam products to an assigned client roster and geography.
• Travel to client locations and build ongoing relationships with firms, individuals, specifying clients, end-users, and purchasing customers.
• Present new products and support project specifications, product selection, pricing, delivery planning, product suitability, and required dates.
• Entertain clients through meals, events, and industry functions while increasing brand awareness and first-look consideration.
• Maintain sampled-product resource libraries and client database information.
• Supervise inside sales support from the sales coordinator and collaborate with regional sales, client services, quality assurance, credit, and resource management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree in Interior Design is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage individuals and groups.
• Ability to resolve pricing, delivery, order administration, and installation issues confidently.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and ability to retain product, project, client, and process information.
• Ability to work independently while following Maharam protocols and processes.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word, and ability to learn DON and Maharam-specific systems.

Nice to have

• Sales experience.
• Interior Design degree.
