Professional Sales Representative (Retail)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States; onsite showroom role

Compensation: $45,000–$65,000+ average annual earning potential after training, including base pay, bonus, and commission. Training pay is $15 per hour for 2–6 weeks; post-training base pay is $11 per hour, varying by store location, plus uncapped commissions.

What you will do

• Sell furniture, accessories, and services while contributing to store sales goals.
• Guide customers through the hirify.global selling process, including needs discovery, presentations, objection handling, closing, follow-up, and after-sale service.
• Schedule and conduct professional home consultations with customized room designs, fabric and furniture samples, accessory recommendations, and installation options.
• Provide responsive customer service by phone, email, and in person, resolving issues and supporting customer satisfaction.
• Maintain showroom displays, product information, customer records, orders, deposits, deliveries, and daily system logs.
• Support peers through product and sales-process coaching and assist with opening and closing the store.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience and the ability to close sales are strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities, work effectively with others, and meet assigned goals.
• Availability to work business-required schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
