Sales Consultant

Location: Sarasota, Florida, United States; onsite store work

Compensation: $16 per hour during 2–6 weeks of training; $13 per hour base pay after training, plus uncapped commissions; average annual earning potential of $45,000–$65,000+.

What you will do

• Sell furniture, accessories, services, and design solutions while meeting store sales goals.
• Build customer relationships through needs discovery, customized presentations, objection handling, closing, follow-up, and after-sale service.
• Schedule and conduct professional home consultations with room designs, fabric samples, furniture, tables, accessories, and installation recommendations.
• Support the hirify.global Design program and collaborate with the in-store Designer.
• Manage customer communications, orders, deposits, records, payments, deliveries, and issue resolution.
• Maintain showroom displays, product information, store cleanliness, daily system logs, and opening and closing procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, customer service, interpersonal, persuasion, negotiation, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others, meet sales goals, and manage conflicting priorities.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and schedules determined by business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and pass a background and drug screen.

Nice to have

• Previous sales experience and demonstrated ability to close sales.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Interior design awareness or experience.

• Full-time schedule of approximately 40 hours per week.
• Uncapped commissions: 3% on hirify.global Design Sales and 2% on other sales.
• Quarterly bonus opportunity of up to $1,500 based on individual sales goals.
