Community Care Advocate

Location: On-site at two locations in the Sacramento, California area; Monday through Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm PT

Salary: $28–$34 per hour

What you will do

• Connect employees with local and national work-life, financial, legal, housing, food, transportation, and other basic-needs resources.
• Provide one-on-one consultations and support employees through applications, referrals, follow-ups, and urgent resource needs.
• Help employees navigate mental health benefits and connect them with appropriate treatment, workplace coaching, insurance-based behavioral health, emergency services, and community resources.
• Coordinate with customer care teams, local contacts, hirify.global partners, and other stakeholders to address employee needs.
• Document referrals, demographics, outcomes, connection rates, and other program metrics, and submit routine reporting.
• Promote the service, attend customer meetings, and use AI responsibly while maintaining privacy, accuracy, and professional judgment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Spanish and English proficiency required.
• Experience supporting diverse populations in social work and connecting individuals with local and national resources.
• Ability to balance multiple stakeholder needs, communicate effectively, and approach workplace challenges with flexibility and creativity.
• Strong listening, written, and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Comfort using multiple computer platforms in a technology-enabled environment.
