Apartment Maintenance Manager (Multifamily Housing)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, service requests, apartment turns, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure work orders are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
• Partner with community leadership on maintenance priorities, capital needs, and asset preservation.
• Manage maintenance budgets and expenses while maintaining quality and resident satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with operating standards, safety protocols, and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of maintenance and facilities management experience in multifamily housing or a related industry.
• Previous experience leading and developing maintenance teams.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliance repair, preventive maintenance, and building operations.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and maintenance operations.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills.
• Reliable transportation, flexibility for evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations, and the ability to perform physical duties and move equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
