Senior Semiconductor Technology Engineer (Mixed-Signal)

What you will do

• Drive new technology introduction in support of the product roadmap.
• Work with IC design, marketing, product engineering, and technology teams to define silicon technology requirements.
• Collaborate with external foundry suppliers on base technology development and custom silicon modules or devices.
• Resolve performance and reliability issues on complex mixed-signal ICs with cross-functional teams.
• Advise IC design and layout teams on process knowledge, SOA use conditions, design-rule compliance, and DFM.
• Travel to other foundry locations and hirify.global design sites when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in electronics, physics, materials engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor technologies.
• Detailed knowledge of device physics, device characterization, reliability, and data analysis.
• Experience with planar technology development, process integration, or technology transfer, including 180nm to 22nm processes.
• Knowledge of analog and mixed-signal design, device and design-rule requirements, including noise, mismatch, Rdson, and multiple voltage domains.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, facilities, equipment, and procedures.
• Experience with high-voltage and BCD technology development or process integration.
• Experience working with external foundries, PDK and modeling teams, layout, and design-rule review.
• Experience in passive and FET device characterization and modeling, PDK development, HV methodologies, and DRM development.
• Test-chip design and bench-characterization experience.
