District Manager (Optical Retail)

What you will do

• Drive profitable sales by analyzing financial performance, identifying opportunities, and executing business plans.
• Oversee store operations, customer service, safety, compliance, quality, and visual merchandising across the district.
• Lead store visits, review performance reports, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain professional relationships with doctors and resolve escalated customer and performance issues.
• Forecast staffing needs, recruit and retain staff, and assess management talent across the district.
• Coach and mentor store managers to improve collaboration and business results.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of retail management or operations experience.
• 2–4 years of multi-unit retail management or operations experience.
• 4–6 years of experience as a general manager, assistant manager, or similar retail or optical manager.
• Knowledge of the optical industry and experience writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to travel throughout the district; a $700 monthly car allowance and additional business-mileage reimbursement are provided.
