Assistant Manager - Optical

Location: Corpus Christi, Texas, United States; onsite at the optical store

What you will do

• Monitor profit, sales, performance goals, and store financial reports.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, inventory, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate opticians, contact lens sales associates, and other store staff.
• Maintain customer service and quality standards, including reviewing remakes and enforcing policies.
• Coordinate promotions, advertising, visual merchandising, reporting, and communication with store and corporate leadership.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruiting, selection, and retention initiatives.

Requirements

• Optical sales experience.
• Ability to lead, coach, and build effective associate relationships.
• Understanding of store operations and performance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports.
