Manager, Indirect Procurement (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop procurement professionals while setting priorities and building team capability.
• Own approximately $200M in annual indirect spend across IT and software, professional services, facilities, HR, and contingent labor.
• Develop category strategies and manage total cost, savings, supplier performance, and service delivery.
• Lead RFI, RFP, and RFQ events, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Facilities, HR, Legal, and budget owners to translate business requirements into sourcing outcomes.
• Track procurement KPIs, improve ERP and P2P/S2P processes, ensure policy compliance, and support supplier risk management and responsible sourcing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably with indirect categories.
• 2+ years of experience leading or developing a team.
• Experience managing a sizable indirect portfolio and delivering demonstrated cost savings.
• Experience with sourcing events, high-value supplier contract negotiations, indirect categories, and supplier performance management.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, ERP systems, and P2P/S2P processes, plus strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Professional certification such as CPSM, CPSD, or CIPS.
• Master’s degree or MBA.
• Deep expertise in high-value indirect categories.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, frontier technology, or another complex manufacturing environment.
