Senior FP&A Analyst (AI)

Location: Staines-upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom; hybrid work opportunities with responsibility for the European day and collaboration across UK and European stakeholders.

Salary: £70,000 annually plus bonus

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders across the UK and Europe, challenge assumptions, explain performance, and provide recommendations for investment cases, pricing decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting inputs, assumptions, commentary, annual planning, and long-range planning.
• Build and maintain models covering recurring revenue, backlog, ARR, ACV, churn, retention, costs, and headcount.
• Own management reporting and dashboards, analyse variances and trends, and partner with Accounting on accurate reporting.
• Query finance and operational data directly and build automated reporting with Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate.
• Design AI and agentic workflows to reduce manual effort, improve speed to insight, and mentor junior FP&A team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or qualification as an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant.
• 4–6 years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, or strategic finance experience with strong commercial acumen.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills with a solid grounding in accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience querying large datasets with SQL, Power Query/M, or an equivalent tool.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate reporting solutions.
• Practical experience embedding AI into finance workflows and working autonomously across distributed, cross-time-zone teams.

Nice to have

• Senior or lead analyst experience, including mentoring or covering for a finance lead.
• Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows with Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Claude, or Python.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or a comparable EPM tool.
• Python or similar scripting experience for data manipulation.
• SaaS or technology-sector experience with recurring revenue metrics and project or services revenue recognition.
