Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

Location: Remote, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 90,000–102,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial models, KPI dashboards, forecasts, and reporting packages.
• Lead monthly variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
• Coordinate the annual budgeting process with regional controllers, department heads, and senior leadership.
• Analyze monthly financial results, key metrics, trends, risks, and opportunities across the organization.
• Prepare materials for Board of Directors meetings, lender reporting, investor inquiries, and due diligence.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, HR, and other functions on financial analysis and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, or investment banking.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency with financial software, ERP systems, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for working with non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong initiative and team management skills in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.

Nice to have

• CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Datarails, or other FP&A planning tools.
