MRA Finance Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States; occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $89,000–$121,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Analyze financial and operational results for the Medicare Risk Adjustment business.
• Translate complex financial drivers, trends, and variances into clear, actionable insights.
• Develop revenue and risk score projections for bids, budgets, forecasts, and strategic planning.
• Evaluate the financial impact of CMS regulatory changes and Medicare Advantage payment model updates.
• Monitor and report on risk adjustment data submissions while supporting accurate, documented, and controlled financial processes.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Risk Adjustment Operations and Compliance, and Risk Adjustment and Stars Analytics stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 3 years of technical experience with financial modeling using SQL and Excel, including pivot tables and analytical trends.
• Experience writing SQL processes and developing and maintaining analytical models.
• Ability to explain variances and trends and apply enhanced modeling techniques.
• Experience evaluating moderately complex to complex issues involving multiple variable factors.
• Ability to work from a dedicated home space with internet speeds of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload while protecting member PHI and HIPAA information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Financial or actuarial background.
• Databricks experience.
• Experience in Medicare Advantage, risk adjustment, or Stars.
