Scrum Master II (Agile)

Location: Arlington, Texas, United States (hybrid; 2 days per week in the office)

What you will do

• Guide and coach Scrum teams and Product Owners in applying Agile values, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices.
• Facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, and other SAFe ceremonies.
• Protect development teams from outside influences, remove impediments, and enable self-organization.
• Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, visibility, and alignment to business value.
• Build psychologically safe, collaborative environments and improve transparency, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Support Release Train Engineers, IT Leads, and business leaders while coaching teams before, during, and after PI Planning.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks and Scrum across multiple teams or products.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools such as TFS, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to teach and train Agile, Scrum, and Kanban to both beginner and advanced audiences.
• Strong negotiation, leadership, communication, collaboration, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM, or PMI-ACP; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Nice to have

• Associate, bachelor's, or master's degree, or additional equivalent work or military experience.
• Experience working with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
