Manager, FP&A, Global Commercial and Medical (AI)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $109,200–$174,600 per year, with potential bonus, incentive compensation, or equity.

What you will do

• Coordinate global Commercial and Medical budgets, forecasts, OPEX, headcount planning, and long-range financial plans.
• Analyze financial risks, opportunities, capital deployment, ROI, and spending effectiveness across global markets.
• Prepare financial narratives, headcount analyses, and budget-to-actual crosswalks for business reviews.
• Partner with Commercial, Medical, Accounting, FP&A, Financial Systems, and IT stakeholders on reporting integrity and standardization.
• Improve reporting structures, master data governance, automation, and analytical processes.
• Use AI tools, planning platforms, and visualization capabilities to increase FP&A efficiency and insight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial operations, or a related field.
• Experience with advanced analytical platforms and visualization tools.
• Strong Excel-based modeling, problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with tier-one ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and planning and reporting tools is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools to automate FP&A processes and improve analytics is preferred.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• FP&A experience in the global biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with operational dynamics and the external business environment.
