What you will do

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual planning for R&D external spend, including long-range plans and latest business estimates.
• Design and build Power BI visualizations for external spend, portfolio views, internal R&D, and consolidated R&D reporting.
• Support portfolio review and prioritization forums by preparing and reconciling baseline financial information.
• Prepare executive-level financial materials, variance analysis, management reporting schedules, and cycle book content.
• Coordinate governance funding requests and ensure approved items are reflected accurately in financial systems.
• Manage the R&D Finance Externals calendar, document processes, lead improvement initiatives, and coach direct and indirect reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 7–10 years of progressive, related experience.
• Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, drive processes, and implement improvements.
• Strong systems skills and willingness to learn tools such as Workiva and Power BI.
• Knowledge of SAP and BPC.
