Senior SAP AR & Cash Application Engineer (AI)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; 70% in-office work model.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the global SAP S/4HANA Accounts Receivable and cash application ecosystem.
• Configure and optimize FI-AR, Credit Management, Bank Accounting, lockbox, electronic bank statements, clearing logic, and reconciliation workflows.
• Lead integrations with global banking platforms using ISO20022, as well as eCommerce systems, EDI frameworks, Stripe, PayPal, and other payment service providers.
• Implement global government e-invoicing solutions and integrate providers such as Edicom.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and lead UNIT, SIT, and UAT testing cycles.
• Drive automation using AI, machine learning, and RPA while maintaining SOX controls, documentation, training, and global rollouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FI-AR, Bank Accounting, and Credit Management.
• Strong knowledge of AR configuration, incoming payments, lockbox, electronic bank statements, cash application, clearing rules, and O2C/RTR processes.
• Experience with SAP Credit Management FSCM, ISO20022/SWIFT banking integrations, dunning, dispute management, government e-invoicing, SAP BTP, and D&B.
• Experience with EDI transactions such as INVOIC, REMADV, and PAYEXT, plus integrations with eCommerce platforms and payment service providers.
• English application materials are required.

Nice to have

• SAP S/4HANA Finance or FSCM certification.
• Experience with AI/ML cash application solutions and large-scale commercial platform integrations.
• Pharmaceutical or regulated-industry experience.
• Strong communication, cross-functional leadership, and problem-solving skills.
